Nestled in South Carolina's Pee Dee region, Bennettsville serves as the seat of Marlboro County. Bennettsville and Marlboro County in Vintage Postcards is authored by Jerry Thomas Kendall, historian, history teacher, and chairman of the museum committee of the Marlborough Historical Society, sponsor of the book. Through more than 200 vintage postcards, he relates the storied past of his native hometown and county, showing them standing, year after year, as symbols of Southern grace and charm.
