Melinda Mackesey (Altamont, NY) holds an MS in educational psychology from the College of Saint Rose (Albany), one of the state's leading teacher education programs, as well as education degrees from Herkimer County Community College and SUNY at Utica. She has worked for the New York State Museum's cultural education center, where she made many important museum contacts throughout the state.
