"Lower Chattahoochee River", a photo documentary, features historic images from the lower Chattahoochee River which forms the boundary between Georgia and Alabama. It is part of the Images of America Series published by Arcadia Publishing of Mt. Pleasant, S.C. The 128-page publication has 209 photos which document the river's heritage from Troup County, Ga., and Chambers County, south to Seminole County, Ga. and Houston County, Alabama.
The Chattahoochee River has dramatically shaped the history of the lower Chattahoochee Valley of east and southeast Alabama and west and southwest Georgia. The book retails for $19.99 plus $4.00 for postage and handling.
