A look at old Hackensack
By Mike Kerwick   - 02/19/2009

The Record

A group of Hackensack High School graduates has put together the latest vintage book in Arcadia Publishing’s "Images of America" series.

TELL ME MORE: Ever wonder what River Street looked like before the arrival of Target and Pep Boys? Curious to see a younger version of the county courthouse?

Well, at least White Manna doesn’t seem so different.

Four Hackensack High School alums will be at Barnes & Noble this Saturday to sign copies of "Hackensack," a book that unites Bergen County and Memory Lane. Barbara J. Gooding, Terry E. Sellarole, Allan Petretti and Theresa E. Jones – the four authors – are all scheduled to attend.

DETAILS: Barnes & Noble, The Shops at Riverside, Hackensack; 201-488-8037.
