Originally from South Louisiana, Rosalind Bunn is a veteran teacher of more than two decades. Students at East Side Elementary School in Marietta, Georgia, enjoy her enthusiasm and knowledge and, while she has dreamed of owning a bookstore, instead she is well on her way to filling the shelves with her own books! Rosalind lives in Marietta, with her family and a pet tarantula, in the beautiful state she now calls home. While going through some saved mementoes, Rosalind came across some of her daughter Maggie’s writing and thought collaborating on a story would be fun. It turned out to be a wonderful idea and this is their third book together! Maggie Bunn also calls Georgia home. As a child she visited many of the locations featured in this book. She loves reading books with her nieces and nephews, fishing with her dad, exploring old cemeteries with her mom, and sneaking lessons into her stories! Keller Pyle’s colorful illustrations fill the pages of many books. With a passion for art, he earned a BFA in illustration from Savannah College of Art and Design. His love of his home state of Georgia brings a unique perspective to the illustrations. Pyle lives in Cartersville, Georgia, with his dogs, Hank and Rusty, and his collections of books, dinosaur toys, and tin robots.
