I was born and raised in Manhattan Beach ⛱️ I was lucky enough to know Mrs. Dennis personally. I went to school with her son & daughter.
As far as the experience of growing up there.... there is NOTHING like it. OUR "HOMETOWN "was the best. The views, parks, bike path, LaMar theater, Joe's candy 🍬 Cottage, Zeppy's 🍕 the Kettle

It has been at least 80 years since growing up on the beaches of California.
Clean water and warm sands made for a day of sun and fun I have never forgotten. The book brought back so many memories...the walk on the pier for one. Great pictures and I passed the book onto my younger sister to enjoy.
We lived in a wonderful time on the clean beaches of California
