I was disappointed by how dominated the book was by focus on the author's Christian conversions. It seemed that the discussion philosophies was maybe a quarter of the book- it was rather a short book too. Left much to be desired if actually seeking a primer on philosophies and there was a lot more room to play if the author wanted to combine memoir and accessible philosophy.
