My name is Brad Pierson, son of Bill Pierson (KBPI). I want to make a reservation to visit the old tower that I used to climb and explore with my father when he used to be the “Ghost” of the D&F Tower. When he saved the building from being torn down. You see, when he owned the radio station - KBPI - he fought daily to keep Urban Renewal from tearing it down. He even walked up the tower to wind the clock every day; he believed it was his duty to keep it running. And, I went with him to help, though he did most of the work because I was just 6 years old.
I want, desperately, to revisit our old haunt. Can you please help me to relive these special moments? I may have some information you don’t know about, exceptional stories know one but me still hold on to? I truly believe it would be to your benefit, and especially mine, to be in the place my father and i spent so much special time together.
