At nearly $40 I was expecting the deck to come with the book. The website isn’t clear, and when I checked out it gave me a bundle discount, so I thought the book came with it. Another person pointed out a misprinted card. I didn’t get so far as to open it because whats a deck without its book?
I like the deck as a whole but one card is misprinted. I have sent emails and pictures and gotten no response as to what will be done to rectify this. I do not recommend purchasing this deck until they sort this out.
I love this deck. I work in conservation within the rust belt, and the imagery on the cards really speaks to me. I love that the minors include hints to help interpret their meaning, and combined with the Rust Belt Arcana book, the majors tell a deeper story of life in the midwest that speaks to the modern era, where we are in a tenuous balance of post-environmental-movement recovery and decline in the time of climate change.
