Amazon Author Central is one of several different online retailers that we will engage to sell your book to readers. As part of this process, we will send metadata about your book to list on your book’s page. This includes the book’s cover image, the back cover description, and your author bio. Every author with a book listed on also receives an Author Page on the site. You can set up a free profile on the site that includes:
  • Your bio
  • An author photo
  • Links to your social media profiles
  • Links to your blog, if you have one
  • Event listings
  • Videos
Within three weeks after you’ve received notice of your publication date, you should start looking for your book’s page to be active. Once your book’s page is active, you can visit to create your account. There, you can edit your information and upload photos and video. You can also network with other authors and respond to positive reviews. It’s a good idea to encourage friends or colleagues to post reviews of your book to your page as well.
