Fraudulent Emails Impersonating Arcadia Publishing

Arcadia has been made aware of a scam involving fake email addresses and websites designed to impersonate Arcadia Publishing. These fraudulent actors are attempting to trick authors, customers, and vendors who work with Arcadia Publishing  into changing payment information in order to divert funds to fraudulent accounts.  This activity is happening entirely outside of Arcadia systems and is difficult to prevent directly, and is entirely beyond Arcadia’s control. This identified activity is not an indication of a compromise of Arcadia Publishing IT Systems.

We urge you to: 

• Verify that emails are coming from Arcadia’s official domains: @arcadiapublishing.com or @historypress.net.
  
• Double-check any requests you may have received to change banking or payment information.
• Notify key contacts and accounting teams to help prevent any unauthorized changes.
