Excellent summary of my hometown of Arvin, and I learned a lot about our history. I bought extra copies for my adult children, and spent many hours annotating almost all the pages with my personal reactions and memories! My children were very happy and seemed to treasure our time walking down memory lane. Best yet, for the first time I felt proud of my "Oakie" background. 🥰
