My parents bought me this book over a year ago, it was amazing. I am a native resident of Caldwell County, born here and have always lived here. Showed photos of places I never knew existed! And with my love for history, especially the 19th century, it was so good that I was pulled into it and read the whole book in a single day. Good info from Churches, Schools, to the Railroads and Military men.
